Lebanon's former central bank chief arrested over financial crimes
SEOUL, Sept. 4 (AJP) - Lebanon's former central bank governor, Riad Salameh, has been detained following a hearing at the country's judicial palace, according to state media. It is reported that public prosecutor Judge Jamal al-Hajjar ordered the arrest of the 73-year-old Salameh after questioning him on Tuesday. Actor Yoo Ah-in sentenced to 1 year in prison for drug offenses
SEOUL, Sept. 3 (AJP) - Actor Yoo Ah-in was sentenced to one year in prison for illegal drug use on Monday. The Seoul Central District Cour also imposed a fine of two million Korean won (US$1,492).
