| A bronze statue of the late Korean marathon hero Sohn Kee-jung is unveiled on Sept. 18 in Berlin to commemorate the beginning of an annual local marathon race named after him. Sohn won the gold medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, but under Japan's national flag. Korea was occupied by Japan between 1910 and 1945. [YONHAP] | ||
