Ryu strikes deal with LA Dodgers

Ryu Hyun-jin, lefty pitcher from South Korea pro baseball, struck an agreement with LA Dodgers on Sunday deadline.

Specific contract content is not yet disclosed but Dodgers have to pay the $27.5 million posting fee to Ryu's previous team, Hanwas Eagles.

On same day, Dodgers got another deal with Zack Greinke, a pitcher paid the highest by Dodgers history, sx-year $147 million agreement.

Ryu could be no.3 pitcher in Dodgers rotation following Clayton Kershaw, Greinke and Josh Beckett or Chad Billionsley.

After high school, Ryu has spent seven years in the Korea Organization of Baseball with 98-52, 2.80 ERA, which is one of the top player's recoerds in South Korea.
