Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will make a phone call to South Korea's President Park Geun-hye to discuss North Korea's nuclear programs as well as ways of improving relations between the two countries, Abe's wife said on March 5, according to local media.

“The two nations inaugurated new governments and we should build future-oriented relationship," Abe was quoted as saying.

Reports said that Abe is adjusting telephone conversation with Park, and will discuss with her North Korea's nuclear threat.

Despite objections from the international community, North Korea conducted its third nuclear test on Feb. 12.
