A 58-year-old man surnamed Sohn, who is the ringleader, was arrested on charges of illegally bringing in counterfeit versions of the drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra from China. Eight others were booked on charges of circulating them in the local market.
They bought them for 70 won per tablet and sold them to retailers for 900-1,000 won, the police said. Viagra usually sells for 18,000-20,000 won per tablet in the country.
