Lo is the third Taiwanese to be promoted to the Major League directly from a Double-A team (Tsao Chin-hui in 2003 and Kuo Hong-chih in 2005), and the fourth Taiwanese pitcher to be called up to the Major League this year, after Chen Wei-yin (Baltimore Orioles), Wang Chien-ming (Toronto Blue Jays) and Lee Chen-chang (Cleveland Indians), according to reports.
The Houston Astros with a record of 35 wins and 69 losses in the current season is a member of the Western Division of Major League Baseball‘s American League, having moved in 2013 after spending their first 51 seasons in the National League.
