China’s trade surplus rises 14% in January

China's trade surplus soared 14 percent year-on-year in January to US$31.86 billion, official statistics showed Wednesday.

Exports reached $207.13 billion, up 10.6 percent from a year earlier, while imports increased 10 percent to $175.27 billion, according to the General Administration of Customs.
