Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area is famous for its great waterfalls.

There are a lot of waterfalls in this area and Multnomah Falls is the most widely well-known one.

Its height is around 189m and two drops. Its longest drop is 165m. Of course it is the tallest waterfalls in the state of Oregon.

Over 2.5 million visitors a year come from every part of the world to view this magnificient waterfalls.

In addtion to Multnomah falls, there are a lot of 'small' waterfalls such as Latourell falls, horsetail falls etc. The total number is 77 and this is Oregon side only!
