S. Korea defeats Tunisia in volleyball men's world championship

South Korea defeated Tunisia 3-1 in their first Group B preliminary match of the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland, Monday (local time).

South Korea lost the first set 24-26, but quickly regrouped to beat Tunisia 26-24 25-21 25-18 won in the next three sets in a row.

South Korea’s Park Chul-woo was unstoppable, scoring a whopping 24 points.

In another Group B match on Wednesday, South Korea will face Finland, which beat Cuba.

The championship ends with the final match on Sept. 21.
