Digital 'gwageo' exam held in Seoul

By using notebooks, people clad in traditional Korean costumes take a "gwageo" exam on ad copywriting at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul on Monday. Gwageo is the national civil service examination under the Goryeo (918-1392) and Joseon (1392-1910) kingdoms of Korea. The digital "gwageo" exam was held as part of programs to promote the eighth Busan International Advertising Festival, or "Ad Stars 2015" which will be held at BEXCO in the southeastern port city of Busan from Aug. 20 to Aug. 22. The festival will be participated in by people from 67 countries around the world, the organizers said.
