The second woman, identified as a bar employee in Seoul's Gangnam district, claimed she had been sexually assaulted in a similar situation on December 16, investigators at the district's police station told Aju News.
"Today another woman filed a complaint through her attorney that she was sexually assaulted by Yoochun. However, no evidence was presented," one investigator said, adding the singer-actor would be summoned for questioning over the two suits.
C-JeS Entertainment, Yoochun's management agency, issued a statement apologizing for causing public but insisting the second suit was also based on "groundless" allegations. "The second suit carried groundless accusations, and we will respond with legal action to hold her responsible for defamation and libel."
Yoochun was "shocked", it said, adding he is ready to leave the entertainment community "if he is found to be guilty in any case".
The first woman dropped her suit overnight, retracting her earlier claims that she had been raped in the bathroom of the membership bar in Gangnam, known for rapper Psy's "Gangnam Style" music video which went viral globally after its release in 2012.
In her original suit, the woman argued she was assaulted before dawn on June 4 while the two were drinking in one of the bar's private rooms. She had presented her underwear as evidence.
