Rozy was created in August 2020 by Sidus Studio X, a subsidiary of Seoul-based video technology company LOCUS. The digital model garnered attention when Rozy started the official activities by posting her trip to Namibia and Egypt. Rozy is 171 centimeters (5'7.32") tall and interested in fashion and travel.
Korea Ginseng Corporation (KGC), the ginseng product-making wing of the world's fifth-largest tobacco maker KT&G, said in a statement on December 22 that the company selected Rozy because of her confident and lively image. Rozy will promote "Cheong Kwan Jang HWA AE RAK Innergetic," a red ginseng-based health supplement and skincare product brand. The company plans to carry out various marketing promotions with the digital figure on social media.
Since the digital model was created in 2020, she has been a popular figure in South Korea's advertisement scene targeting millennials and Gen Z who favor various lifestyles and innovative ideas. The digital figure became a promotion model for GS Retail, the operator of GS25, in December 2021. The virtual hipster also released a collaboration project with the world's first digital supermodel Shudu in January 2021. The project created by British photographer Cameron-James Wilson was designed to break various types of boundaries in the world.
