[BOK Press Release]Household Loans

As of the end of July 2010, the outstanding amount of household loans by depository corporations* stood at 571.4 trillion won, posting an increase of 3.3 trillion won during the month.

*Depository corporations include commercial and specialized banks and non-bank financing corporations (mutual savings banks, credit cooperatives, community credit cooperatives, mutual credits, trust companies and postal savings).

The household loans by commercial and specialized banks increased by 1.5 trillion won during the month.

The household loans non-bank financing corporations exhibited an increase of 1.8 trillion won during the month.
