There were a lot of speculations over who is going to be the next judge of American Idol. There were quite many celebrities on the list, Nicki Minaj among them.
It is now confirmed that Minaj is indeed going to join the panel of judges.
What American Idol producers wanted by Minaj was the drama between Mariah Carey and Minaj since they are not so in friendly term. They expected the fuming drama between two divas would bring more attention to the show.
Now it seems like their wishes came true. MTV has learned that Minaj and Carey already had heated arguments at the audition in North Carolina. What more was that it was filmed by someone, and was released later for people’s leisure.
TMZ obtained the video and from the look of it, Minaj could not stop ranting at Carey. Obviously producers got what they wish for in 10 times worse condition, which surely they did not foresee that much of anger and drama. The third judge Keith Urban was just stuck between two angry females.
