According to U.K.'s International Wine and Spirit Research, Korea toppped the list with 698,000 casese ( 9 liters per case) of super-premium whisky. S. Korea has been on the top list for 11 consecutive years.
Next to S. Korea in the list was U.S. with 478,000 cases but the country with more than 6 times population of S. Korea drink only 68 percent of S. Korea'a consumption.
S. Korea and U.S. were followed by China (234,000 cases), Taiwan, Japan and France. And also, Korean drink much more whisky than China with a population of 1.3 billion.
