Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ was announced all time ‘most watched YouTube video’ with 1-Billion views, and now MTV announced Psy as the ‘Viral Sensation of the Year’.
Psy was already the top singer in Korea with his spunky charm and lyrics, but within 6 months, Psy became the most sought-after global sensation with his ‘Gangnam Style’ music video.
There was a hitch with his gruesome anti-American lyrics from the past making headlines recently, but he still stands strong globally as the center of Korean wave.
Korean wave began in 90s only in Asia, but recently it started to bloom all through out the world with sudden increase of K-pop popularity.
Psy topped it all this year to strengthen Korean wave even further.
