Candy Spelling—an author and the wife of late Aaron Spelling—is one of the richest Beverly Hills residents; she is about to get kicked out from a L.A. condo she’s been renting.
Spelling has been paying $28,000 per month for the place while her $47 million L.A. penthouse is getting renovated.
Spelling sued her landlord for charging her so much with rent when the condo is so not up to par. The landlord billed her utilities for double and she even had to pay $10,000 out of her own pocket to fix the air conditioning and heating system.
However, the landlord filed for Candy Spelling’s eviction claiming her lease was up on January 31 but she is not vacating the condo.
Candy Spelling counterclaims that the landlord’s contention is absurd since she already renewed her lease term to 6 months and even pre-paid for February.
