Sales amounted to 673.5 billion won, up 17.6 percent from a year earlier, NHN said in a regulatory filing.
Search advertising accounted for 49 percent of the total sales, followed by game with 23 percent and display advertising with 12 percent.
In particular, sales in the sategory of search advertising soared 11 percent to 327.8 billion won over the cited period, thanks to an increase in the number of advertisers and sales growth in the mobile division.
Domestic sales recorded 520.4 billion won, up 7.6 percent from a year earlier, while sales abroad skyrocketed 71.4 percent to 153.2 billion won, NHN said.
