Famous Korean actor's son Noah Cha under investigation for teen rape case

Noah Cha was also arrested for substance abuse before this incident. Noah Cha denied the minor confinement and rape charges, and claimed that he and the girl were in a relationship.

The Seoul Central PD is extensively investigating the case.

S.Korean actor Seung-won Cha (43) apologized on behalf of his son Noah Cha (24). Noah Cha is currently under custody for repeatedly confining and raping a 19-year-old (Korean age) girl in high school—whose identity is withheld under minor protection law—since April. On Saturday, Seung-won Cha publicly apologized on his me2day (Korean social networking site), "This is Seung-won Cha. I sincerely and regretfully apologize as a failed father instead as an actor," and continued, "whatever the truth maybe, as the father of the son with such accusations, I feel responsible for his conduct and cannot express my agony enough. Again I sincerely and regretfully apologize."
