Apple unveils iPad Air to up the tablet market war

Apple unveiled iPad Air Tuesday to up the tablet market war.
 
The new iPad Air will weigh only 1 pound, and 28% lighter and 20% thinner than previous iPad. The new Apple tablet will have Retina display with 2048 x 1536 resolution and over 3.1 million pixels though the screen size will remain the same. Previous iPad model had 1024 x 768 resolution at 132 pixels per inch.
 
iPad Air will also be equipped with A7 chip with 64-bit architecture and M7 motion coprocessor to match with Desktop performance. CPU performance and graphic performance will be up to x2 but the battery life will remain the same at 10 hours of use. Also it is stocked with 2 antennas to double the speed of internet and download speed will be as fast as 300Mbps.
 
To top the iPad Air of the tablet market, it also comes with preinstalled apps like iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. So the new iPad Air will be a great substitute for laptops for work and school.
                                                  
iPad Air will come with 2 color options in Space Gray and Silver.
The pricing will begin with $499 at 16GB and with cellular option with $$629.
32GB starts at $599 and with cellular option at $729.
64GB starts at $699 and with cellular option at $829.
128GB starts at $799 and with cellular option at $929.
 
Interestingly enough, 2 other Apple competitors, Microsoft and Nokia, launched their new tablet pc on Tuesday (PST).
