Beckham was only 16 when he had to go through the hazing ritual. He was forced to masturbate looking at a photo of Welsh soccer player Clayton Blackmore in front of his teammates. On the ritual, he said, “Everyone had an initiation that you had to go through on the youth team, that was one of the most uncomfortable ones.”
Beckham said in the documentary, “The fact that I had to look at Clayton Blackmore’s calendar and do certain things, while looking at Clayton Blackmore—I mean it was embarrassing to talk about!” and added, “I was embarrassed when I was saying it on camera let alone talking about it more. But it’s something that we all had to go through. It was definitely something I wouldn’t like to go through again!”
David Beckham announced his plan to retire after 2012-13 Ligue 1 season, which ended on May 18, 2013. His youth career started in 1991 and pro senior career began in 1993. Beckham is still happily married to Spice Girls member Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham (39). The couple tied the knot in 1999 and have three sons together.
