Actor Soo-hyun Kim earned the title ‘New gen Bae Yon-joon’

Actor Soo-hyun Kim (26) soared to international stardom with his role as Min-joon Doh in K-drama ‘Man from the Star’ and freshly earned the title ‘New gen Bae Yong-joon’.

Legendary actor Yong-joon Bae (41) became the K-drama icon with his role as Joon-sang Kang in ‘Winter Sonata’ 12 years ago and formed huge fan base all over Asia. ‘Winter Sonata’ became the beginning of the Korea wave and it opened up the chance to introduce many other K-dramas and K-pop overseas. Even now Bae is on the absolute top as ‘The Star’ of Korea wave.

Now with new K-drama ‘Man from the Star’, actor Soo-hyun Kim earned the honorable title as the new generation representative actor for Korea wave. Kim will start his overseas tour all thorough out Asia. The tour will begin from Korea then move on to Taiwan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and more.

The actor is currently shooting many advertisements targeting China and Hong Kong, and also preparing for the tour, learning Chinese.
