“These products reflect a vast and varied pool of ingenuity in the cycle industry that will encourage more people to embrace a healthier and sustainable lifestyle,” an official at the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) was quoted as saying by Taiwan Today.
In recognition of Taiwan’s growing competitiveness and reputation as a cycling industry heavyweight, Dahon Technology, a U.S.-based producer of folding bikes, plans to establish a new venture in Taiwan and shift its R&D center back across the strait from Shenzhen, mainland China, according to the Taiwan Today.
Also included in the program are the All-Stars Awards sporting goods show and the inaugural Fitness Industry and Fitness Club Management Forum. Representatives from industry heavyweights, such as Anytime Fitness, International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association and World Gym, will shed light on the latest market trends and management techniques, organizers said.
