A Korean tabloid, Yonhap News, reported that legendary K-pop boy band Shinwha’s member Eric is in a relationship with actress Hye-mi Na.
Earlier on Wednesday, Shinhwa’s agency, Shinhwa Company, said in the phone interview with AJU News that “Eric and Hye-mi have dated in the past but it is unknown if they continued the relationship at this point” and added, “We are trying to confirm the news with Eric.”
Later in the evening, the agency released an official statement that said, “We apologize for the delay in releasing the official statement as we wanted to confirm with both sides. We also want to apologize as the truth turned out to be different from what we said in the interview previously.”
“Eric and Hye-mi Na have been just close friends but as we were sharing the information within the agency, there were some confusions. After we confirmed with both sides, they were never in a relationship and even now they are just close friends” the agency again emphasized, “We are officially announcing that Eric and Hye-mi Na were never in a relationship.”
