Actress Ha Ji-won visits Taiwan to promote ‘Empress Ki’

South Korean actress Ha Ji-won attended a media event in Taipei, Taiwan, Monday to promote her historical television drama "Empress Ki."

In the drama series, Ha portrays a tomboyish and charismatic empress of China’s Yuan Dynasty.

Ki, born in Korea’s Goryeo Kingdom, was sent to Yuan by an order and later married Emperor Huizong (1320-1370), according to historical records.
