Chinese actress, South Korean film director to tie the knot in fall

Chinese actress Tang Wei and South Korean director Kim Tae-yong will tie the knot this fall, Kim's agency, Bom, in Seoul said Wednesday.

Tang, 35, and Kim, 45, first met during the filming of the South Korean movie “Manchu (Late Autumn)” in 2009. Tang played the female lead role in the 2010 film directed by Kim.

The two became friends after filming “Manchu,” have been a couple since October last year, according to the agency.

The wedding will be held in a private ceremony with their families and friends participating, it said.

Kim’s works include “Memento Mori (1999)” and “Family Ties (2006).”
