The group will release its debut single, “Miniskirt,” in Japan on Oct. 1 under the partnership with the Universal Music Japan, the agency, FNC Entertainment, said.
Previously, the Universal Music Japan signed deals with other South Korean girl groups, such as Girls’ Generaation and KARA.
AOA’s hit songs include “Short Skirt” and “Short Hair.”
