Psy's 'Hangover' most-viewed K-pop video in America in 2014

K-pop superstar Psy's "Hangover" was the most-viewed K-pop music video in America in 2014, Billboard magazine said.

The hip-hop single, released in June, attracted 172.1 million views on YouTube.

It comically portrays South Koreans' drinking culture and nightlife, and features U.S. hip-hop mogul Snoop Dog.

Psy also took the top slot in 2012 and 2013 for his global mega-hit "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman," respectively. The former drew 2,208.7 million views on YouTube, and the latter attracted 783.3 million views.

EXO-K's "Overdose" ranked No. 2 on the 2014 list released on Jan. 13, followed by Taeyang's "Eyes, Nose, Lips," "Mr. Mr" by Girls' Generation, 2NE1's "Come Back Home," HyunA's "Red," f(x)'s Red Light," HIGH4 & IU's "Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms" and Beast's "Good Luck."
