Seoul citizens watched 5.9 movies at theaters on average last year, the highest among those living in big cities in the world, a think tank in Seoul reported Tuesday. Citizens of London came in second with 5.3 films, followed by those in Paris (4.9 movies), and Toronto and Sydney (4.8 films each), the Seoul Institute affiliated with the Seoul metropolitan government said, based on an analysis of the 2014 World Cities Culture Report published by the London city government. Istanbul ranked the lowest with 0.8 movie, and other low-ranked cities included Mumbai (0.9 flim), and Moscow and Shanghai (1 movie each), the institute said. Tokyo citizens saw 2.2 movies on average in 2014, it said.
