“Last Word”(最後の一言), new single of Korean idol group “Beast” has hit the top of Japan’s Oricon Music Chart.
According to Oricon Chart, Beast’s new single Last Word was ranked on the top of the list, Monday. The single, released on Friday recorded approximately 35,000 copies sold on its first day. An industry’s expert predicts nearly 50,000 actual copies were sold within 24 hours of its release.
Beast had launched a new team “Beast Music” in Japan last March, and started its campaign of “Ten months of music”. The campaign consists of ten singles which are released every month. Last Word is the November’s release.
Ten months of music project turned out to be a successful one for Beast. It’s the first single of the project “One” took first place Oricon Chart on its release week, followed by singles “Hands Up”, “Can’t Wait to Love You” and Last Word, which were all ranked first on Oricon Chart.
Beast is to go on a nation-wide tour in Japan. The tour consists of 12 concerts over 8 provinces. Beast’s management company Cube Entertainment expects more than 30,000 visitors total.
