South Korean actor Lee Jong-suk will take a role of the main actor in an upcoming Korean-Chinese drama “Jade Lover”.
Lee, who gained great popularity in Asia region, will appear in the soap opera Jade Star, a fantasy romance which is set in 1930’s, the actor’s agency said Wednesday. The drama will start filming in Shanghai next month.
The Jade Lover will be co-produced by Jin, the terrestrial network of SBS, and DMG, Hong Kong’s media group.
