Park Bogum's first international fan meeting tickets sold out in minutes

Park Bogum, a South Korean actor who gained fame from the hit drama "Reply 1988", is in favor of his international fans. His first round of tickets for the upcoming fan meeting at the International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan is sold out in just seven minutes.

According to Park's agency Blossom Entertainment, "1,500 tickets were sold in just seven minutes. The second round of tickets will go on sale on April 9." The actor is to present special events including exclusive behind-the-scenes clips from the drama and movie he appeared in.

The rising star is spending one of the busiest moments of his life after the end of the drama Reply 1988's airing by appearing in reality shows and fan meetings. He also made endorsements with various brands and became one of the top-paid actors in the commercial film industry.

The 22-year-old actor, who originally wanted to be a professional swimmer, debuted in 2011 by appearing in a film "The Blind". He also appeared in a Korean box-office record-breaking film "Roaring Currents".

Park stacked his filmography by appearing in various films and drama, and also took a role of the main MC in the most popular TV music program "Music Bank" in 2015. His latest work is the hit drama Reply 1988, which he played the professional Go player Choi Taek. Following the massive popularity of the drama, Park also gained fame, considered as one of the most fast-rising stars in Korean entertainment industry.
