Hanteo Chart's data, released on November 3, showed that Seventeenth Heaven ranked first for the fourth week of October in the three countries. The company determines the ranking by analyzing various global data such as album sales and social media data. The album, rolled out on October 23, recorded more than 5 million copies in sales as of October 30. The music video for the album's title track "God of Music" gained some 42.6 million views after 11 days of its release.
The 13-member band debuted in May 2015 and won the "World Performer Award" at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), an annual music festival in Hong Kong. Seventeen consists of three subgroups -- hip-hop, vocal, and performance. The group made its debut in Japan in May 2018 with its Japanese language album titled "We Make You."
Seventeen has attracted about 100,000 fans through its two-day concert in Tokyo that began on September 6. The event took place at Tokyo Dome, an indoor stadium regarded as a "dream stage" among Japanese artists. The group will continue its Japan tour at four other domed stadiums in Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
