SEOUL -- Multinational K-pop boy band Seventeen has ranked second on Billboard's top 200 popular albums chart with its eleventh mini album titled "Seventeenth Heaven." American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift took first place with "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

Seventeen's album, released on October 23, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart with 100,000 equivalent album units sold in the United States in the week ending November 2. The music video for the album's title track "God of Music" garnered more than 43 million views on YouTube as of November 6.

This is the fourth time that the group has entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart, after "FACE the SUN," "SECTOR 17," and "FML." Seventeenth Heaven recorded about 5.09 million copies in sales in the first week of its release.

The band debuted in May 2015 and won the "World Performer Award" at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), an annual music festival in Hong Kong. Seventeen consists of three subgroups -- hip-hop, vocal, and performance. The group debuted in Japan in May 2018 with its Japanese language album "We Make You."

Seventeen has attracted about 100,000 fans through its two-day concert in Tokyo that began on September 6. The event was held at Tokyo Dome, a domed stadium regarded as a "dream stage" among Japanese artists. Group members will continue their Japan tour at four other domed stadiums in Saitama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka. They are also scheduled to deliver a speech and showcase performances at the UNESCO Youth Forum in Paris on November 14.
