SEOUL, August 04 (AJP) - K-pop wonder BTS will take part in an upcoming Michael Jackson tribute album by recording one of the late artist’s previously unreleased songs, according to an announcement posted just after midnight Monday on Big Hit Music's official Instagram account.
The track is one of several Jackson worked on while staying in Ireland in 2006. "As a tribute to Michael Jackson, the album brings to life the songs he worked on during his time in Ireland. Work began last year, and BTS has already recorded one of the songs," the statement said.
The album, slated for release in 2026, is being produced by Rodney Jerkins, who collaborated with Jackson on his 2001 album Invincible. The unreleased BTS recording is also expected to be included in the Michael Jackson biopic Michael, set for theatrical release in April 2026.
No title or musical details about the song have been disclosed, but anticipation is already building among fans of both BTS and Jackson.
