SEOUL -- Boy band Enhypen will go on an encore tour in April and May in the United States. The seven-member band will interact with fans in five regions starting with Anaheim, California on April 24. This encore tour, titled "FATE PLUS," serves as an extension of the "FATE," a six-month world tour held in 13 cities including Los Angeles and Tokyo.
According to Belift Lab, the band's agency, FATE PLUS will also take place in Oakland, Tacoma, Rosemont, and Belmont Park. The extended tour will conclude with a performance at Belmont Park, New York on May 3. During the FATE tour that ended earlier this month, Enhypen attracted more than 80,000 fans solely in the U.S.
Enhypen was formed by Belift, a joint venture between Hybe and CJ ENM, an entertainment group that produced the Oscar-winning 2020 film "Parasite." The group's fifth mini album "Orange Blood," rolled out in November 2023, remained on Billboard's top 200 popular albums chart for seven consecutive weeks. The band now has more than 15.3 million Instagram followers.
Enhypen has garnered attention for collaborating with the web content industry. The group worked with Naver Webtoon, the web cartoon wing of South Korea's largest portal operator Naver, to create a digital cartoon "Dark Moon: The Blood Altar." In September 2022, the seven-member band showcased the digital cartoon concept, depicting a mysterious relationship between vampire boys and the mysterious girl who knew each other from their past lives through a song titled "One In A Billion."
In August 2023, BTS' agency Hybe acquired Belift. Hybe aims to upgrade Belift's production system and improve its management efficiency.
