Chinese Government released a statement recently that “China Government’s 11 ministries started using latest electric cars manufactured in China for their officials.”
National Agencies Affairs Bureau official, Sang Shaoting said in the statement, “Central government agencies have taken this significant step to reduce carbon dioxide emission and to promote green energy.”
Official Sang added “ More government ministries will partake in this movement and currently discussing over the preferential treatment on new energy car policy.“
China based companies, BYD Automobile and JAC Motors, supplied total of 24 electric cars to the government.
The Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, and National Development and Reform Committee are among 11 ministries that will use the 23 green cars.
Potevio Co. will be in charge of the cars maintenance and charging batteries.
