K-pop Duo, TVXQ, scheduled 5 Dome Tour in Japan next Spring.
Starting with April 27th Saitama Super Arena Concert, TVXQ will have tour concert in Tokyo Dome, Osaka Kyocera Dome, Fukuoka Yahoo Japan Dome, Sapporo Dome, and Nagoya Dome. This Dome-Tour is the very first attempt for Korean singer.
Only singers and bands that held Dome-Tours in Japan are rock group Bon Jovi (2003), Eagles (2004), and Billy Joel (2006), so only top class stars were allowed to do so. With TVXQ, this will be 4th Dome-Tour.
This can be quite significant for TVXQ since this is the clear indicator that they have gained enough popularity in Japan and have grabbed the peak of the Japanese music industry.
TVXQ showed their ability to mobilize 550,000 fans at their ‘TVXQ Live Tour 2012~Tone’. This Dome-Tour will further firm their position as top foreign band in Japan.
TVXQ said in official statement, “We are happy to announce TVXQ 5 Dome-Tour that we have been dreaming about since our debut. We will do our best to prepare good music and performances. Please support us with your interest and attention.”
Meanwhile, TVXQ will release a new album, ‘Humanoid’, on 26th and begin official activities in Korea with the title song, ‘Humanoid’.
