It has been 4 days since a Lao Airlines plane crashed into the Mekong River while attempting to land at Pakse Airport in Champassak Province despite the bad weather. There was no survivor out of all 44 passengers and 5 flight crews.

The Lao authorities’ search party has been working vigorously and discovered total of 27 bodies from the river as of Sunday. The authorities believed that all Australian passengers except one have been discovered.

Currently, the search crews are looking for the plane black box flight recorder but the strong current is making it impossible to recover the wreckage.
