Yoon wrote on his Facebook Friday, “Passed October 31 was the first anniversary of my mother-in-law’s death. I was very worried that Jung-hwa may get distressed as the date approached. Also, we were in U.S. at the time” and he continued, “God gave us a surprise gift to us. On the anniversary day of mother-in-law’s death, we learned that my wife has a new life in her.”
He added, “It was as though my mother-in-law had asked God for this gift because she was worried Jung-hwa may get overladen with sorrow. We will be a father and mother next year. To celebrate this good news, we are traveling Cancun now. Hope you all can join celebrating the good news and send much blessings to us.”
According to the actress’s agency SALT Entertainment, Kim is 7 weeks into her pregnancy and the couple is in U.S. for Christian music ministry Eun-sung Yoo is working on.
The couple first met volunteering through Food for the Hungry International Federation last year and tied the knot on August 24, 2013.
