Japan at 53rd place was the highest-ranked Asian country. It was down one notch from the previous month.
Iran dropped from 51st to 56th to become the second highest-ranked Asian nation, while Uzbekistan plunged from 65th to 74th.
Oman, Australia and Kuwait, all belong to group A in the upcoming Asian Cup tournament like South Korea, came in 96th, 102nd and 123rd, respectively.
The tournament will be held in Australia in January next year.
Football powers ranked in the top six - Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Brazil - kept their ranks, whereas Portugal moved up two notches to seventh.
