Avengers sequel surpasses 9 million viewer mark in 17 days

Hollywood action blockbuster "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" has surpassed the 9 million viewer mark since its opening in South Korea 17 days ago, the country's official box-office tracker said Monday. As of May 9, the film drew more than 9.37 million viewers at theaters nationwide, according to the Korea Film Council (KOFIC). The Avengers sequel has topped the local box office since its release on April 23.
