HyunA, a sexy icon from the South Korean entertainment scene, will launch a new project group in May. The singer previously launched a two-member mixed group "Trouble Maker" in 2011, with a former boy group B2ST member Jang Hyun-seung.
South Korean news agency Yonhap News reported Wednesday, citing an insider from the industry that "HyunA is preparing to launch a new project unit group. Her partner will be from her agency, Cube Entertainment".
The 24-year-old artist became the center of controversy after performing a sensational on-stage dance with Jang on a live TV music show in 2011. While many fans supported Trouble Maker for its hot performances, others claimed it was sexually explicit, not suitable for to be aired live on a TV music show.
After the dissolving of the girl group "Four Minute" last year, HyunA went on a successful North American tour, staging concerts and fan meetings in eight cities.
