Actor Lee Min-ho, one of the iconic Hallyu (Korean cultural wave) figures popular in Asia, will soon go to a boot camp before working at a Seoul district office next month for his mandatory military service, his management agency said.
The 29-year-old will become a public service worker at the Gangnam Ward Office in southern Seoul from May 12 after completing a four-week military training, MYM Entertainment said.
Lee will not go to a regular military camp because of injuries he suffered in car accidents in 2006 and 2011.
