Singer-actress IU to go on world tour in 18 cities

SEOUL -- Singer-actress Lee Ji-eun, known by her stage name IU, will go on her first world tour in about five years since she went on a tour in Asian countries in 2019. The 30-year-old will interact with global fans in 18 cities including Los Angeles, Berlin, Jakarta, and Seoul.   

IU, who debuted in 2008 at the age of 15, is one of the most popular solo female artists in South Korea's entertainment scene. Not only IU is famous for her talent as a musician, but she is also well-known for her talent in acting. IU has played main roles in popular South Korean dramas such as "My Mister" and "Hotel Del Luna."

EDAM Entertainment, the artists' agency, said IU will embark on her 18-city tour titled "H.E.R." in Seoul on March 2, 2024. The agency has not disclosed detailed information other than her performance date. Meanwhile, IU is set to release her new single "Love Wins" on January 24.
This is IU's first world tour since the 2019 tour "Love, Poem." She has attracted some 90,000 fans in 10 Asian cities including Seoul, Singapore, Taipei, and Bangkok during the two-month period.
