SEOUL, April 03 (AJU PRESS) - BTS member Jungkook's very first album, "Golden," has been listed on Billboard's top 200 popular albums chart for 21 consecutive weeks. The album was released in November 2023, before the 26-year-old artist began his compulsory military service.

Billboard's chart released on April 2 showed that Golden ranked 131st on the Billboard 200 chart. The album, comprised of 11 English songs, depicts the story of Jungkook's journey to becoming a global pop star. As of April 3, the music video for the album's title track "Standing Next to You" garnered more than 108 million views on YouTube.

The main vocalist of BTS collaborated with many global producers, including British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and American producer Andrew Watt, to create the album. Golden has recorded some 2.14 million sales only three hours after its release.

Jungkook is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service as a chef at a front-line infantry division. He is scheduled to resume group activities with other BTS members in 2025 after all members complete their service.
