He added, "While it may be hard to imagine in the next 5 to 10 years, we need to consider how to send the offshore wind power generated in Jeju to the metropolitan area in 30 years."

He noted, "To participate in V2G, vehicles need to be connected, and both the vehicle and charger are expensive. A price difference of 10 to 20 won per kWh is not enough to motivate action. We will find a rate system that creates a significant price difference to encourage real participation."
Additionally, Jeju is pursuing plans to connect energy demonstrations to industry and job creation by attracting related companies and developing industrial complexes. Governor Wi stated, "We are discussing projects to practically implement carbon neutrality by 2035 with the Ministry of Climate," adding that plans related to this could be announced soon with the climate minister.
He also revealed plans to attract public institutions, targeting organizations such as the Korea Racing Authority, Korea Airports Corporation, and the Korea Energy Technology Evaluation Institute.
