Renault Korea is expanding its sports marketing efforts.

On November 4, Renault Korea announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ilgu Association, a group of former professional baseball players and coaches. As part of this partnership, Renault Korea will serve as the title partner for the upcoming event, 'Jamsil The Last Inning by Renault,' scheduled for November 14.

The two parties plan to commemorate the history and memories of Jamsil Baseball Stadium, which is undergoing changes, alongside baseball fans. They will also collaborate to enhance customer engagement through sports.

Earlier this year, Renault Korea operated a 'Renault Zone' in the outfield area of Busan's Sajik Baseball Stadium and supported the Jamsil Baseball Stadium with its mid-size family SUV, the Grand Koleos, as a bullpen car.

Before the main event, Renault Korea CEO Nikola Paris will throw the first pitch. He will also attend the post-game MVP award ceremony to present a trophy shaped like the emblem of the team.

Paris stated, "We aim to become a brand that creates meaningful experiences in customers' lives beyond just being an automobile manufacturer. We want to share the passion for baseball that Korean customers love and build a more authentic relationship with them."

Additionally, Renault Korea has launched the 'Noir Edition' of its flagship crossover, Philante, with a limited release of 1,000 units.
