South Korean police are on the hunt for a nude burglar who wore nothing but a plastic bag over his head and a pair of sanitary gloves during his robbery in a beauty parlor.

The break-in took place on Sunday night at the beauty shop in the southwestern port city of Gunsan. A security camera showed the fully naked thief roaming through the shop to steal money, a police officer in Gunsan told Aju News.

"We believe he is the man who has been known to have committed similar crimes ten times since last December in the region," the officer said.

The shop owner told investigators that some 170,000 won (146 US dollars) was stolen.

Police believe the naked burglar is probably a local who knows his way well around the town. To secure evidence, they are looking into dashboard camera recordings from cars parked around the shop.
