Samsung’s Impact from Japan Quake to be Minimal

Samsung Electronics Co. said there will be minimal impact on the company’s production schedule, quoted by Bloomberg news as saying.

The World’s largest maker of televisions and memory chips added that its photo equipment was momentarily halted to avoid malfunction and returned to normal about 2 hours later.

Japan was struck by its strongest earthquake in century, an 8.9 magnitude trembler that shook building across Tokyo and unleashed a tsunami as high as 10 meters, resulting in more than 1,000 casualties.
